Oh nooooo! I have puppies and believe me, they are expensive and a lot of work. I adore them though, I don’t know how anyone could do that. And not even leave food and water? That’s heartless.

They can be expensive, but if they weren’t prepared to care for puppies, they should have had the mother dog spayed. There is also so much technology today, they could have advertised on numerous platforms to find families, instead of just dumping them

Yes and there are low cost spay clinics. I had my girl spayed at spring hill vet clinic. The surgery was 60 bucks. I had to pay extra if something happened and she needed lifesaving treatment but that is an option and they don’t make you pay for it, and also I paid extra for more pain medicine. I am a RN and I have a huge soft spot for anything in pain, but my girl only needed like 1 or 2 extra doses! I think altogether I paid right under 100 dollars. I think most people deserve the love of an animal but if you can’t take care of their needs, even basic needs such as making sure they don’t have unwanted puppies, then you prolly shouldn’t own that animal. Maybe get a fish. Or a gecko.

I wish I could have pets in my apartment or I would take one of those cuties!! They are all adorable. People are jerks to leave them like that.

I know that post is a year old but I figured I'd mention that the City of Mobile Animal Shelter has been a no kill shelter for about a year now (since it was listed as a kill shelter).
