My friends don’t say I love you
My friends don’t say I love you
We go on road trips and drives
Send each other music and
Indulge in each other’s lives
My friends don’t say I love you
We notice cracks in a smile
Ask “are you okay” and
Check up once in a while
My friends don’t say I love you
They’re there when I need them most
Doesn’t matter if I’ve asked
If they’re far or if they’re close
I know my friends love me
But they haven’t got a clue
Just how much
I love them too
This is my first poem here, so constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated!
