Having been to a lot of pro stadiums, I don't understand making the social deck a ticketed area. Usually they are not that crowded and people linger and then go back to their seats.

Growing pains I guess. For the first year, there will be a lot more interest, so I assume making it ticketed will be to alleviate the congestion.

Bingo. As the shiny new thing hype wears off I imagine they’ll open the space up to more and more sections.

I hope so but I am doubtful in the next few years. They are selling that as a season ticket promoting the exclusivity of it. I would be pissed as a customer if in Year 2 they open it to everyone.

I doubt they opening it up fully in year 2. Will depend on demand this year obviously, but with more renovations coming in the next couple years I could see it being opened up to more sections, but not the whole stadium.

The ticketed feature is what makes it attractive to me. Otherwise I think it would be shoulder-to-shoulder people the entire time. I don't drink at games so I don't care about that part, but I assume food and soft drinks are available, and that it has its own bathrooms.

It isn't a bad idea. They probably make more money this way from the investment. Like you said - the exclusivity with private bathrooms is a premium perk you usually see for box seats and space to move around certainly can generate buyers. But I wonder how many folks are willing to pay $2K for that without a seat?

I think if it was open to the public that it would be packed early on as the shiny new thing but people want to sit down during a 4 hour game and the crowds would dissipate after a while. I personally love that you're still inside the stadium and can see the action as you're in line. And I just would like to grab a beer and hang out on the deck for 1 drive before heading back to my seat. That is how I usually see folks interact with similar setups at pro stadiums.

When they announced no assigned seats I was skeptical; sitting on the front row of the upper deck are, I think, great seats. And I would like to sit down (or at least have the option to) for a lot of the game. I like to be in the stadium around an hour before kickoff so maybe that would be early enough to get seats in the front, but that was my friend's first comment when I said the party deck looks really interesting, that you don't have a seat. I don't know if they said how many party deck season tickets they're selling, but I'm guessing there will be around 200 seats at the tables, which makes me wonder if they're going to sell more tickets than seats, in which case you could just not have a seat at all.

There are enough questions where I want to see what people who experienced it have to say after the season.

I will let you know what I see tonight. I decided to go last minute and saw tix for this zone were $115 while one section over near the front row was $25. I'm cheap and chose the other section. But I def will check if they have seats in that table zone.
