Trivia (courtesy of the SPOP fan wiki)
- Aimee Carrero is credited as voicing both Adora and She-Ra but, curiously enough, her She-Ra form never appears in this episode, this being the first time this happens.
- The only mention of the Star Sisters, Sweet Bee and Peekablue in Season One. While Sweet Bee and Peekablue have established backgrounds in several Princess of Power continuities, the Star Sisters are three of the more obscure characters that were developed as action figures by Mattel but never produced to be sold in the original line, but were finally released as in a Mattycollector three-pack in 2012.
- The design of one of the dresses that Scorpia tries on before attending the prom was inspired by her original design from the Filmation show, complete with green eyeshadow.
- In the background there is a character that looks like writer Laura Sreebny.
- Scorpia wears a dress seen again in Perils of Peekablue
- This is the only episode in which Adora, Catra, Bow, Perfuma, Mermista, Glimmer and Sea Hawk are seen wearing the outfits they wear in this episode.
- Entrapta, unlike the others, is wearing her usual attire.
- The shape-shifting mercenary Double Trouble's appearance at the Princess Prom may mean that they are somehow connected to a Princess. Or they could have shape-shifted to look like a guest, guard or server and got in that way.
- ND Stevenson and his fiancée make a cameo in animated form during this episode. Molly has blue hair and round glasses with ND around her arm. ND is wearing the same suit that Stevenson wore to the 2015 NBAs.
