Which version of Iggy & Scorch did you prefer?

The old version looked more diverse, as he used different things on his kit, some attacks where by the Iggy side and other by scorch side while the new one was just turrets, and his Ult was so generic (but cool).

The old Scroch Ult was perfect at it was, with a push to to reposition enemies within range of your turrets and the rest of abilities consisting on controling the zone with your oil.

I think that the new Iggy should be a mix of the old and the new, basically all the abilities of the old, but having a passive to charge the turrets and someway activate the modern Iggy's Ult, but still maintaining the original Scorch Ult.

I agree with you. I personally prefer the legacy ult just for the fun factor. In fact, i think the only thing I liked about v42 Iggy was that his turrets become indestructible during the ult, but that's about it lol

I though another possibility thanks to the ideas of your video.

First of all, really good job with your video is a really interesting proposal and I would be really happy with a new Iggy & Scorch like that.

The thing that I thought that could be something cool is giving Iggy & Scorch an ability to "change form", so each ability would have one ability for Iggy and other for Scorch. So following your idea I thought in this:

Passive:

  • General: Iggy and Scorch can change the lead using the Alternate Ability what will change the repertoire of abilities.
  • Iggy throws a molotov that redirects turrets to attack that target if in range.
  • Scorch spits out a flaming projectile that applies a stack of Ability Damage per tick over 6 seconds to enemies. Refreshes duration on consecutive hits.

Primary ability:

  • Iggy throws down a turret that shoots homing fireballs at enemies within 1400 Units for 30 seconds. Each fireball deals Ability Damage. Changing lead makes turrets change into flamethrower form.
  • Scorch: Iggy deploy a flamethrower turret that deals damage in a short range around it. Lasts for 12 seconds. Changing lead makes turrets change into fireball shooter form.

Secondary ability:

  • Iggy drops a patch of oil into a zone that applies slow and can be ignited for extra damage and Stacks -1/-4 Ability Armor on hit for 8 seconds.
  • Scorch gains movement speed for 4 seconds and leave behind a trail of oil that applies slow and can be ignited. (With fart sounds while running).

Alternate Ability:

  • Iggy throws a charged molotov (basic attack) that Stacks -1/-4 Ability Armor on hit and apply for 8 seconds to all objectives around the impacted enemy then change the lead with Scorch.
  • Scorch spits out an empowered fire ball (basic attack) that scales with ability damage and apply the double stacks of Scorch passive to all objectives around the impacted enemy then changes the lead with Iggy.

Ultimate:

  • Iggy: Flame Turrets kick into overdrive for 6 seconds. While in overdrive, they deal 25% additional Ability Damage to all enemies in a 1400 unit line and apply a 14/30%, turrets become indestructible.
  • Scorch deals damage in front of him for 2.5 seconds, then knocks enemies back. Flamethrower deal 35% additional Ability damage for 6 seconds.

Maybe this kit would be too complex for a character that already has the complexity of playing around the turrets.

From what you describe in some abilities, it seems it would be worthwhile having a toggle which enables you to switch between Fire abilities and Oil abilities - control or high short range damage.

As for the Fart slam... I feel that's a hard sell, but the concept is good, i.e. having some mobility like Oil slick from legacy. The forward and up movement is nice; a vertical component is always good to give the 3D moba it's shine. I would animate that as Iggy using Gas canister or a molotov in each hand which Scorch sets alight and then Iggy 'Iron Mans' the Thrust downwards to propel them both.

Mastered iggy - he was much better when his ult was the cone coming from scorch paired with the oil bomb aoe.

Took a nerf in monolith for sure but was still a very strong lane defender

We didn't play Legacy, but Monolith Iggy was the first character I was able to play and be like "this is my boy!!" I was heartbroken with v42. They took this great siege character, who was perfect at defending and pushing lanes, and tried to turn him into a brawler. Hubby and I would often run Iggy and Howie, and the coordination between those two was just chefs kiss! I would love to see Monolith or Legacy Iggy back in action.

Can't remember which was which. I just liked setting up turrets to fuck khaimera over. I remember two teammates got eliminated by khaimera and he then came after me where I was pushing lane. He got cocky and came after me. Then I burnt his ass.

I liked the 2mo period before the rework when assassin jungle Iggy was viable with full power and magic pen.
