Behold the fabled

Poem

She caught my attention showing up on a half-light eve.
The amber sky was still alive, and for her it is wee.
With a halo around, and a gold fused orange tint.
Fabled yet conspicuous now, this splendid glowing spirit.

Eyes glued to her, charmed by radiant serenity.
I woke to change my viewpoint, to relish her entirety.
Halted halfway I, on glimpsing her selfless sumptuousness.
When her halo haloed the oak, certain jeweled highnesses.

Twilight slowly fades into the dawn of her luminescence.
Dusk encompasses me but the sky a candlelit essence.
She turned more a child the more she got brighter.
Ballet dancing to hula hooping as she ages younger.

~ Dedicated to the haloed Moon.
