Thoughts on Fest der Feste?

Hello. We will be visiting Switzerland staying in Wengen later this month. I see this event called Fest der Feste is happening during our stay and I was wondering if this was worth checking out. We do not speak German but this event seems like a good way to experience the culture of Switzerland. Any thoughts?

These things are almost always 200x better than surfing from one tourist trap to another.

I went to the Federal Yodeling festival a while back and it was pretty awesome.

That is my thought as well. My only reservations about visiting this event are: getting there, and only being able to converse in English.

English is plenty in CH.

And Switzerland has the best public transport on earth.

I'm going there (I am Swiss) to check it out. It seems like it will be very food-focused . Most of the festivals sampled there revolve around certain dishes or produce. It is probably more like a big market of people trying to sell you local specialities. Altogether, seems like it might end up being a rather pricey experience. But Ballenberg in and of itself is worth a visit, so I think it's cool

That sounds right up our alley.

Good to know; maybe we can visit the festival and the museum. Thanks.
