LSAT Tutor Directory

I'm creating a directory of tutors I've been in touch with personally. Eventually, I'd like to cover all the major cities in the USA and Canada. Let me know if you know a good tutor I should include.

####Note: Online Tutoring

It's safe to assume that all tutors offer online tutoring. They'll do logic games using an online whiteboard.

I tutor lots of students online, for example. I make drawings with an iPad.

So if your city isn't included, Skype lessons are a good option.

###Canada

####Montreal

Graeme Blake (Me):

I'm the moderator of this forum, the VP of Curriculum Development at 7Sage LSAT, and the author of Hacking the LSAT.

I teach the LSAT in Montreal. Using Skype, I tutor students in many other cities.and also skype video lessons.

Right now I'm charging $80 an hour; I want to make lessons accessible. If this results in more students than I can handle, I'll reconsider.

I scored 177, and previously taught with Testmasters and Ivy Global. I've been teaching the LSAT for four years.

The easiest way to get in touch is to send me a PM. You can also call 514-612-1526.

I have a referral program. If you know someone interested in tutoring, and they do at least two lessons with me, I'll pay you $25. PM me for details.

###United States

####New York City

Larkin Robson (NYCLSATTutor) Larkin is pretty active on this subreddit, and gives good advice. You can check out his website for more info. He offers in person and Skype tutoring.

He charges $135 an hour for redditors. He scored 179, has a JD from NYU and has been teaching the LSAT for six years.

You can reach Larkin at 212-888-LSAT, or just send him a PM.

Johnathan Wang

John is the lead instructor for Preprobono, a non-profit that aims to make LSAT prep available to all.

You can contact him at: jonathan@preprobono.org, or find him on Reddit. Wraith985

Justin Meyer

I tutor on Long Island (suburbs of NYC). I got a 169 on the LSAT including a perfect score on logic games. I am now a practicing attorney with bar admissions in three states (NY, NJ & FL). I have been tutoring the LSAT since 2008. My rate is variable depending in part on how far I have to drive to the student. I can be reached through Reddit or via e-mail: jameyer@gmail.com.

CausalError

He's a Redditor starting independent tutoring in NYC. He previously worked for a prep company for many years. He's temporarily offering lessons for free.

Max - SevenTallKitchBags

I'm a 179 scorer with a tutoring company called BrioPrep (brioprep.com). I travel to my students' neighborhoods at no extra cost, anywhere in Manhattan, and many parts of Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bronx. Rates start at $50 an hour.

####Chicago

David (LSAT Sensei)

Dave teaches LSAT courses in Chicago. He charges $250 an hour for private lessons, with reduced rates for packages. His courses are the preferred option, and more affordable.

Check out his website for details:

####San Francisco

Nathan Fox: Nathan runs Fox LSAT. He teaches LSAT prep courses in San Francisco, and offers private tutoring there and online (I think).

Nathan is the author of Cheating the LSAT, Breaking the LSAT, and Playing the LSAT.

Nathan charges $300 an hour. He scored a 179, and taught for two national LSAT companies before starting Fox LSAT.

You can reach Nathan at 415-518-0630 or through the contact form on his website.
