CIBC aventura platinum vs infinite??

I currently have the cibc visa aventura platinum and got an offer to upgrade to the infinite. I am trying to understand if I should do the upgrade and any advice or information would be helpful!

•I travel 1-2 times a year and perks of the infinite seem very attractive but not sure how worthwhile itll be since I’m only travelling 1-2 times/yr. • I have a balance transfer on my current platinum and to take advantage of the offer of 20k points, i will have to make purchases on the card. This isn’t really ideal since I have a balance transfer and I don’t plan on paying it down fully for another 7-8 months. •There is no rebate on the annual fee for the first year. • The promotion is 15k points with first purchase and then 5k points after spending $3k in the first 4 months.

Does the upgrade seem worth it? Is the infinite a better card to have?
