Looking for some info on an old school edger shaft

I'm looking to see if anyone knows where I can find this edger shaft for an old golden boy/grants edger. I'm not sure exactly what brand the edger is.
I tried searching across Google for the shaft but came back with no luck.
The shaft is a 3/8th diameter shaft that's 5"1/4in long & takes a D-Hole blade.
I went to my local parts store and they gave me the part number for the shaft, the part number is as listed "16-1249".
However again I searched for all of this information across Google and came back with no results.
I wasn't even able to find a replacement shaft that was close to the original I just had pretty much zero luck finding a new or even used but in good condition shaft.
