Does Murakumo Worth it?

Well, i LOVE Dexterity in dark souls, i know that most people say that this is not as fun as strenght, but hey, everyone has their preferences, i heard that Murakumo Is one of the most powefull weapons for a dex build, but i'm not so sure, since that 28 strenght min to one hand scares me, so before i spend some time on farming i want to know, is that a good weapon?
