Arama lives?

I was just about exploring the old Vanarana after Aranyaka and while i unaliving some abyss mages a Strange voice is talking to me during it. Judging by the dialogues I think its Arama and i do hope that it is. I really loved the little guy and I was not ready when he became the king tree. So am I right or am I just dreaming?
