Quick thought about Tamlin
Alright this is the first time I'm actually posting something on Reddit but just hear me out for a second, also spoilers for the first two books...
So I've always loved the theory that Amarantha and Tamlin were mates because there's so many factors to it. Yet at the same time its always seen from the point of view of how they're as bad as each other, or comparisons as to how Amarantha treated Tamlin and then how Tamlin treated Feyre.
However, and I hate to be defending Tamlin in some element. Under the assumption that they are mates and Tamlin rejected it. It would give him a quite valid reason to think so little about Feyre's bond with Rhysand. Like of course we know that its nothing like that yet Tamlin thinks of Rhysand as a monster and could think that Feyre is in a similar situation that he was. I just think its a really interesting subject that I haven't really seen.
