Perfume of Persia
Close to my current Goddess
I call in the name of life
And pray, asking for mercy to my cigarettes smoke
Seeking the intercessions from Yanni
Probably
He will compose a piece of music for her
So that it might rain, with a possible frost
To convince her to stop praying
And sits comfortably on a bed of water
Wearing that yellow lingerie
Then I clean her glasses,
Spread that sexy perfume,
On the edge of her neck
“That perfume reminded me of Persia,
Arrived tonight coincidentally,
On a special cargo delivery for her,
From the nearest point to hell,
Brought to me a few years back”
There were no witnesses on my delicious crime, except myself!
& I
I am still waiting,
For the rain to come,
Without wind,
Non-tropical,
So, I could sip a teardrop -maybe from happiness-
Or to drink all alcohol (alone),
To try not to write direct sentences,
Or maybe a holy book!
The version of myself, sitting right in front of me; hoping that the violin will remove the church strings,
And scream out loud a special tune of Agnosticism
So, I would dance naked!
Then the foolish people would think I am worshiping!
Whoever in the same position as mine,
Of those who were not infected by the alleged divine justice,
And writing vacillating sentences,
Not indifferent to this amount of religiosity; And superstitions
They will go the next morning to their work
Unsatisfied with their sexual relationships
I know what my colleagues will say
With their wooden faces
I know how long it will take, while I am trying hard not to talk
And I know that having my breakfast at this canteen will irritate me, the whole day
Just to see them eating savagely,
With provocative sounds
And I know very well; that this worn-out fast boat will create a silly path to the warm rain, in order to get my precious clothes, wet!
I know very well that I am a racist
And this world, will not ever own a place with no religious racism!!
