USB-C charging only left port

heyho. i just got the G14 2022 with R7 6800 and rx 6700 and im using this pc on my 49" monitor that has usb-c displayport with PD. everythign works fine while i use the left usb-c port on the notebook. charging, picture, everything as expected BUT it is the video output of the integrated gpu / apu. since. i want to use it for gaming as well (yeah yeah i know usb-pd wont provide sufficient power, idc) so i want to bypass the iGPU by plugging it in the other usb-c where it does not charge!!!

is this on purpose? is there a bug?

second question:
is there a way to "choose" which gpu a game should use?
