Need help with choosing a PVP EU server

Hello,

I obviously want to come back and play with WOLTK incoming and I just checked server population...

I checked at the data and it seems like my options are to play on a 100% alliance server, a 100% horde server (making it useless to choose a PVP server I assume?) or to learn russian...
Also there is no sharding in WOLTK right? So a server 99.99% alliance will never have outdoor pvp? Or am I wrong about sharding
And what about the wintergrasp fight? It's not cross server I believe?
