Laser tag rifle....basically made it unfair when I had this and my friends had the regular ones. Shot like 3 times as far.

Considering how tech improved so much since we had laser tag toys, I’m surprised they never made a comeback.

Loved that C64. Friend bought me a book of "games" that gave you the code in "Basic" to type in. Would spend hours transcribing the code into it just to find out I missed a comma somewhere and the game would freeze, but when they worked it was glorious.

I dunno, I have a pretty GenX nostalgia pic somewhere on my computer. I might have to go digging for it. I have hair to the side with a mini mullet, OP shirt on I think, playing Excitebike on a small 13” TV, etc. It screams 80’s

I bought mine in '88 when they were selling them off because some kid got shot with one or something.
I picked up about 10 sets of the pistol version, too...I was on tour working for bands at the time, so I would randomly hand them out to people and we'd play outside the venues...one time a bunch of us dropped acid and played laser tag in the abandoned top floor restaurant/night club of the hotel we were in...that was amazing. It had mirrored walls and you could shoot off of them.
