Hello readers, welcome to OCpoetry. This subreddit is a writing workshop community -- a place where poets of all skill levels can share, enjoy, and talk about each other's poetry. Every person who's shared, including the OP above, has given some feedback (those are the links in the post) and hopes to receive some in return (from you, the readers).

If you really enjoyed this poem and just want to drop a quick comment, to show some appreciation or give kudos, things like "great job!" or "made me cry", or "loved it" or "so relateable", please do. Everyone loves a compliment. Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy.

If you want to share your own poem, you'll need to give this writer some detailed feedback. Good feedback explains from your point of view what it was like to read the poem, and then tries to explain how the poem made you feel like that. If you're not sure what that means, check out our [feedback guide](https://new.reddit.com/r/ocpoetry/wiki/feedbackcritiques), or look

Wow maybe I’m early or no one commented yet because the only real feedback here is great job! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.

Great poem, only critiques I can give are that the title sounds a bit off given that the poem is have about the rise after the fall from grace. Maybe something related to rebirth or phoenixes would be more apt?
Also the third to last line is a bit weird grammatically. Even if it’s supposed to be “And I from you” it’s still a bit weird, but so is the whole poem, so I assume that’s intentional.

The last two lines are very powerful, as is the rest of the poem. An inspiring read, very much needed.

Yeah there's no major critiques to even make, this is a good poem with good rhythm and rhyme that flows and is spaced well, with a theme that hits. only critique i could think of is the second to last line, "I learned its okay" could instead be "Learned its okay" so it connects to the line above so it becomes "And i for you, Learned its okay, To fall". Very deep, simple, and very enjoyable
