Yet they will still receive tons of hate

FPX is a cracked team, but god are they unlikable as fuck.
I had absolutely no problem with them but now, I think they are my least favorite team
praying DRX takes the rematch :praying hands emoji:
Hope DRX curbstomps them. FPX is cracked no doubt but I’d be embarrassed to say that those man children are the best Pro Valorant has to offer
Don’t worry, DRX is going to send them home.
Bug abuser team fan dislikes team which they won over with bug abuse, news at 11

Imagine Riot just staying quiet the whole time and forcing the players to get back on at fucking 2 am
This is honestly shocking then if XSET didn't even raise the issue. Yes there is a reasonable argument that XSET could have just thrown the replay but no competitive team is ever going to do that. Honestly that just fucked over XSET pretty hard because they got made to look horrific when it was Riot trying to save their skin over a bug. I hope the XSET players don't get abuse and the real issue which is the bug get resolved
They don't have to throw, they can just ff the match.
What team is ever going to do that? Yes they did get fucked over by a bug, but Riot acted as the rules say. Why would any team throw that chance away? Don't spin this back on XSET
Why would any team throw that chance away?
I don't know maybe a team with integrity?
The teams with integrity did play the round out. They played by the rules that all the teams know about. Its not XSETs fault that riot chose to replay the round.
Bro said integrity 💀
“No riot! We lost fair and square because of that bug! We will not replay the round!” fuck outta here lmfao
classic Riot leaving it vague so anyone could share the blame that is entirely on them, ffs
I don't think it would be half as bad if they didn't call out Optic for tech pause abuse.
Anyway, when you get knocked out 3 times in a tournament with double elimination bracket, you're gonna get some rough banter for a few days, at least.
Well that is just sad then. How come nobody was told of this? Everybody made XSET look so bad!
XSet taking the L that riot should be taking. FPX fans WE SHALL UNITE WITH Xset and demand 50000 Valorant points for this bullshit 🤓🤓
Valoran's main target audience/demographic are teens so I don't expect a lot of maturity from the fans tbh and this type of situations only fuels the fire.

Fpx players should delete their tweets imo
Still haven’t
I’m pretty sure that’s how they feel at this point, they’ve had an entire day to delete their tweets. It’s a shame that these are their true colors(with exception to doombros and shao), cuz they’re a really cracked team.
if it does happen that Riot denies them franchising this is just going to be the biggest L
honestly the popularity isnt bad their twitter impressions were probably great tonight more about the players
yeah they got more impressions alright, not sure if they are positive ones but they are impressions
Sentinels strategy
Tbh they were never making it anyways. 6-7 slots NA and riot are looking for good orgs, popularity and financial stability and likely not competitive success( though team success can boost the other factors) They don’t want valorant to become LCS 2.Also they will kick out strong teams if the org is not stable . See immortals when LCS franchise started.
same thing happened during acend vivo keyd last champs, riot make a call entirely independently and people get outraged and blame the players not the shitty company
The transparency sucks but idk how you the VK situation could have turned out any differently. It was a banned camera.
oh yeah i fully supported riots decision there (beside the fact the bug shouldve been patched ages before then), the issue is riot not making it clear that they are making these calls independently of players involved, thus resulting in the whole of acend getting death threats and whatnot
I guess the thinking is it shouldn't matter whether a team called for something or Riot initiated and made the call themselves, they validate the call and that detail is all that matters.
Still, Riot needs to do a lot better with their lead times and especially transparency. Ticket sales and venue announcements were crazy late, rulebooks and even format details are so hard to find for average joes, etc.
They're completely fine in this regard in LoL idk why it's so bad in Valorant specifically.
Can you imagined this happened versus Loud or something.......lmao
monkaW
This makes it even worse for riot?
They can just intervene on any game they like and force a replay?
How do we know there's not a conflict of interest?
Who are the people who make these decisions? Is there a list of referees anywhere?
I would not want to even release the list of referees. The amount of death threats and doxxing if one team gets some decision made upon them would not be pretty. Also, it isn't like you will be verifying much by giving their names out. You will just have to trust it, just like sports referees. Tourney organizers always would likely reserve that power to maintain competitive integrity, even if teams don't initiate it themselves.

Feels bad for them. Thier last games on coppenhagen with a very embarrasing comeback and now they got momentum in istanbul but loss to a bug then got shit on again.
I would hate to have to replay a round or a match. Either I waste my time for the same outcome or I end up with an outcome that feels undeserved. Replays are a lose lose. I'd probably only be happy with a replay if I felt like the initial outcome was completely unfair
I find it quite funny people on valorant always complain about the community being toxic, yet here we are with a bunch of self entitled 17 year olds thinking what they say will make earth spin the other way lmao

Because if they had any sportmanship they would refuse to play the round?
ok no that's just dumb lol
He is the racist guy that is actually still allowed his shit takes on here for some reason.
I'm racist for taking Mixwell down from the pedestal he has been put on because of the early days of Valorant. Living off past glory ain't getting you nowhere
You would reject a replay on a win or die? Especially with your roster in question and if your org is even making franchising?
That's not how the world works
Lmao you’re not serious right?
This has got to be the dumbest argument i’ve ever seen in my whole entire life man
Teams want to win and should always put winning first. Not hate to XSet for taking their second chance.
Because if they do that, they risk getting banned or not being picked up for franchising for pissing off the parent org? Idk why you think XSET had any choice in this. You do what Riot says. They control the purse strings, they control who gets to play. You do what they say, or you risk your entire future lol. What a 1 brain cell take.
You can’t lol

You int it
Match fixing is perma ban you goof ball
except it's not match fixing? They lost so it's pointless to replay lmfao. Just making it quicker and less of a shitty situation. Imagine if XSET actually won, biggest disaster in e-sports
why? it's a bug, riot was aware of it and tried to patch it in 1.07; either their fix got reverted on accident or their fix wasn't enough. it's still a bug.
the way the round was played, and the impact of the turret had serious impact over how the round ended. why would they refuse to play the round.
wait so FPX players are just shitting on XSET instead of shitting on Riot who okay'd the entire decision LMAO
I don't think fpx knew either it seems.
either way their responses are so childish
And overall their older then the Xset players. Lol
Yeah ange1 was taunting Zekken someone who is literally half his age, talk about childish.
Maybe don't go off on Twitter or after the game until you do know. tensions were high but it doesn't excuse being assholes to other human beings for something that they had no responsibility for.
Perhaps they should have waited until they knew the full story, you know, like ordinary human beings?
[deleted]
Either way they should have shat on riot for the decision no?
fpx must have thought xset asked for the replay, in which cause being tilted is understandable. its all on riot really
Really shouldn't go off on XSET anyway. If the situations were reversed, no shot they don't take the replay too. (Assuming the proper bug report procedure. Sounds like that wasn't even the case here.)
FPX most likely didnt know. it's still unsportsmnlike and those tweets should be deleted, or the players fined if they dont.
Many of their tweets are still up as if 5pm the next day
At the end of the day, even if Riot "initiated" the conversation, XSET went along with it, and as far as I know they didn't have to. That's why FPX don't like XSET. They chose to replay.
