TAKE ME

Poem

From my master lyric book titled To Whom This May Not Concern:

Turn back the tides

Uncry my eyes

Forgive me, I

Never learned how to try;

Sitting in the shower

For the fourth or fifth hour

Asking heaven for the power

To see light again;

There is no being whole

To someone who sold their soul

For the chance to get to know

Where their body ends;

Contacts in my phone

Never called ‘home’

So am I just alone

Stuck with my bones

Stuck with my bones;

Turn back the tides

Uncry my eyes

Forgive me, I

Never learned how to try

All my mistakes

Don’t go away

I feel the pain

Growing everyday

Take me away

Take me away

Take me away

Take me away

Take me;

Contacts in my phone

Never called ‘home’

So am I just alone

Stuck with my bones

Stuck with my bones
