inside the shell of vanity.

I think the above would read better:
Her glow reveals innocence

Inside the shell of vanity.

Reasoning: the comma is incorrectly used there, the two lines are part of a single idea with no condition or related aside being introduced.

Very well written. I really like how simple it is. Yet it's so beautiful.


In truth,

the Moon shines brighter than the Sun.

Her glow reveals the innocent,

inside the shell of vanity.

She exposes our most sincere desires,

having been neglected by that glaring Sun.

For if the Sun were to outshine the Moon,

what a hollow world that would be.
