Why don’t women use dating apps as much as men do?

Dating apps have increasingly male-dominated userbases. Back in 2015, Tinder had a roughly 60/40 male-female ratio, but today it’s closer to 90/10.

Why do you think this is? Is it because of the behaviour of certain men on the apps, or are women just not as interested in dating in general?

EDIT: If this is because men want hookups or casual sex more, this just pushes back the question. Why don’t women like hookups as much as men do?
