How do I as a UK citizen invest in Ukraine safely?

As the title says I want to make some small investments in Ukrainian companies, ideally profitable, not necessarily looking for the biggest returns etc but how do you start to go about this?

I'm self-employed and will be setting up a sipp seperately in the first half of next year I want this to be something else set aside.
