Help my buddy

Discussion

So my buddy picked up Splatoon 3 and he's really excited to play but has a pretty big problem.

He has a personal issue that doesn't allow him to aim very well. This isn't a practice issue, it's part of him as a person. That's all I feel comfortable saying about it in particular.

He really likes shooting games but sticks to shotguns because of his aim. With Splatoon he's been trying to use the roller but it's just not working for him.

Is there anything he should try? A different weapon? Id appreciate any help.

The bloblobber and tri slosher don't require precise aim

I'll let him know, hopefully it helps.

I appreciate the suggestion. Thanks!

Weapons that have a larger hit box like tri slosher or a roller could help with not being super precise. Depending on what your friend feels comfy with I’d also recommend possibly motion controls and find a sensitivity that works okay. My last piece of advice is that the Y button (reset button) could help a lot for say turning around - if you spin turn your character to face a direction and press y the camera will spin to whatever direction they’re are facing. I hope any of this was handy and I really hope they can enjoy Splatoon! Best of luck!

Didn't even think about the camera reset. I've never watched him play in person so I don't know if he uses it.

I'll mention it to him, along with the weapons and sensitivity. Thanks!
