Mother's recipe: Fish fry

Poem

That flavour always lingers, and the memory of my mother feeding me fried fish.
One day, that nostalgia got potent and compelled me to re-live the moment.
So I went fishing and came home with enough to make the mother's recipe.

Washed'em on running water, marinated with salt ginger garlic yogurt, some coriander, some magic powder, fried it to perfection, and ready it was to serve.

My nose that was in a voluntary coma woke up to a familiar savor.
The water in my mouth washed the palate, tongue, and teeth to savour.
My hand, now a puppet to Mr.Reminiscence, picked up the fry for indulgence.
Seconds later, there were thorns all over my mouth, poking and pricking.
And that's how I realized, I could recreate any dish, but not the love that it’s served with.
