What is a poem

To just talk shit

tell ourselves it's gonna be alright

Lie to everyone that things are just so damn great.

Scold love for hurting us again

Indirectly letting that guy know

I want you. I love you. Why can't you love me?

Crying over a man or woman

who never wanted you

I stayed on love because 99% of the poem is about love.

Is a poem just to say anything that comes to mind.

Or is the poem ART?

Taking words and painting a masterpiece.

Really, what is a poem?
