Trees

Must be a woman

she knows how to withstand it all

Must be a woman

She knows how to shelter in the storm

Trees

Must be a woman

she knows how to be glorious

in her coverings of green leaves

Trees

Must be a woman

She knows how to change her colors

When the season of time and life

Needs her to be

Trees

Must be a woman

Too often she is cut down by a man.

I am woman
