Shoe recommendation for similar/same road and trail models

I'm getting back into training for trail races after a bit of time off. Due to where I live now and my schedule, my weekday workouts will be on the road and the weekend will be for trails. I was hoping to find a shoe model (wide feet) that offers a road option and a trail option but it seems that may be slim pickings. Does anyone have a recommendation for me?
