He should be. Repeat offender and came off the sideline. Was a stupid move

kickrocks16:87:•

My exact thoughts. Coming off the sideline and hitting someone is what I think should be a suspension.

That being said I don’t think he will be.

43
Bouwistrash•

Only reason I think he wouldn't be is because Brady is his QB. They won't do that to Brady when he's already down 2 WRs

19
Space_Cowboy_17•

Plus game is made better with him in there. Garbage, but that’s all the NFL really cares about

10
Bouwistrash•

Also very valid

3
storstygg:69:•

He also seems like a repeat douchebag. Which should also carry some sort of penalty.

5
FSUfan35•

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think he was in the previous play so not really off the sideline.

3†
Bouwistrash•

If you see the replay of the incident he was already on the sideline and then came back off of it. So he had already went off the field

11
FSUfan35•

Yes I know that but he was still involved in the play prior, so I don't know if the NFL would see that as coming off the sideline or not.

-3†
Bouwistrash•

He was off the field regardless of being a part of the play. He's a repeat offender. No denying either. The league though will make it's decision solely off "do we want to take Brady's star receiver away, especially against the Packers?" and most likely they won't

5
turkeyjr•

Can we not? Just because we play them is no reason to root for a suspension. He’s still on my fantasy team after all.

-16
Bouwistrash•

I'm not rooting for a suspension because we play them. I'd rather play and beat them at full strength. But he deserves to be suspended as a repeat offender causing a "fight"

9
Bombad69•

I’m rooting for a suspension because he’s a piece of shit with 0 emotional control.

6
turkeyjr•

I mean, if they aren’t suspending Donald for his multiple acts of violence, why should they suspend anyone else?

-5
Bombad69•

They should suspend him.

But there’s also a significant difference between getting into it after a play, and sprinting in from the sideline to start a full on fight. And the NFL has a history of punishing the latter a lot harsher than the former.

2
bilallipop:ShareHolderL::ShareHolderR:•

And maybe Brady should also just shut the fuck up. He's definitely the instigator in this whole thing

45
wagon_ear:GB:•

His energy during that fight was totally the crazy girl who talks shit to random dudes and then makes her boyfriend bail her out.

Brady just slowly stalking after those guys, continuing to run his mouth, while his teammates acted like bouncers and fought anyone who got too close...ridiculous.

25
Loon_Cheese•

He got hit, marcus is a bitch. He hit brady in the helmet and brady yelled, mike saw him hit his qb in the head and ran after him. Fuck the bucs, but double fuck the saints.

-21
Masontron•

Did you even watch it? Nobody hit tom Brady

20
MrScrummers:RetroLogo:•

I say the brawl, then saw a replay and saw Brady bitching about something. And some saint made the uncatchable ball motion. And then it was chaos so Brady didn’t get hit?

1
Masontron•

No it was Fournette who got pushed by Lattimore and then mike Evans cheap shotted him

6
bpi89OP:29:•

Edit: CONFIRMED. Evans suspended 1 game.

Not directly Packers related, but we play them this week.

I want to play Tampa at full strength, but this could impact our game with the Buccaneers on Sunday.

He’s a repeat offender fighting DBs, so that’s why I think the league is considering a suspension.

41
Scoottttttt•

It feels bad when a player is out because of an injury but I couldn't care less if Evans being out because of this affects the game. That's on him

68
mikeh95:GB:•

"I want to play Tampa at full strength"

If it was later in the season, I'd agree. However, I say rack up as many wins now as possible, easy or not, while we continue to work out the kinks on offense. We've seen a lot of times, teams that miss the playoffs by one game.

29

Think he will and should be. So dramatic.

12
---Syndicate---:RetroLogo:•

I'll take any advantage we can get. We don't get extra points for playing a team at full strength. Though I would tend to agree with you on their defensive side of the ball to help our rookies out a bit.

6
Steve_Hunts96:GB:•

And regarding Lattimore, it’s a real beef between the 2. Mike’s quiet off the field, but holy hell does he have a overwhelming temper on the field that he just cannot for the life of him control.

3
Whitesoxwin•

Lattimore is an aggressive/agitator all his career. Look at his personal fouls unsportsmanlike penalties. Evans clearly will get suspension and deservingly , only way to stop is like college , 2 a game you are out and I think suspended next game maybe? Idk what else can be done?

MBVeeezy22:GB:•

SUSPENDED?!

DOUG, KICK HIM OFF THE TOUR!!

19
Tasteful_Dick_Pics:AronJone:•

Mr. Gilmore accomplished that feat no more than an hour ago

2
ScubaSteve716•

Suspend him for one game. Suspend Brady too since he started it. Maybe their whole starting defense too to send a message.

11
nintendonerd256:ShareHolderL::ShareHolderR:•

At while we’re at it, disband the team

7
Jonesy665•

I'm good with Brady talking shit, I'm good with Lattimore talking shit back, he'll I'm good with the check by Fournette (believe it should of been a penalty), I'm good with Lattimore's response (again with a flag). But Evans reaction, suspension absolutely.

2
DonTrask•

Nothing to do with the Packers but the NFL has to ask itself this question, “Do we want to promote more or less fighting in the league?” If its less and players are coming off the sideline, then suspend the guy. A close comparison is hockey when players used to leave the bench to join in on a brawl. Not a good look so the NHL started a policy, leave the bench, automatic suspension, no questions asked.

9
AnkitPancakes•

Same with the NBA

mikeh95:GB:•

I say Brady should take the week off as well. Aaron plays like shit in the FL heat anyways, so they'd still have a good chance of winning next week.

5
nopal_blanco:69:•

The NFL has reviewed the actions of Mike Evans and has determined that Tom Brady should be suspended for 4 games^/s

3
JoeHatesFanFiction:GB:•

I don’t care if he’s playing us, shit like that needs to be punished. So yeah suspend him for a bit. If he wants to hit people he can go take a karate class

2
Phytosaur01•

Update: He has been suspended one game. No Evans next week is just fine with me.

1
hi__im__username•

Same, as I'm also playing Mike Evans in fantasy next week

Please. He’s the NfLs golden child. I’m sure Tommy will simply write a strongly worded email to his good friend Rodge “Goody goody”, invite him for a massage on his private yacht, and this will all be forgotten by Sunday.

4
ivandragostwin:GB:•

Watching this game yesterday and the replay of the fight.

I guess maybe I’m in the minority where in a vacuum this seemed like a pretty typical scrum, especially considering the Fournette push and Lattimore getting up under his helmet.

Only reason he would be suspended is if the league wants to send a message to Evans and Lattimore for doing this over and over. Hell, they’ve had worse fights in the past lol.

0
Andyk123:88:•

I think Evans will be suspended because he was on the sidelines and ran onto the field to cheap shot a guy. It's different if you're on the field and hand-fighting with another guy. Leaving the bench area to throw a shot is something the league doesn't want to promote.

1
aaronwhite1786•

The NHL is similar with their rules. You can fight, but only the players on the ice can. If you're on the bench though, you can't jump on and fight a guy.

For me it was not that big of a deal and I do not want to see a suspension. I thought the ejections were unwarranted. But I completely understand in the current NFL that this type of activity will likely result in an ejection and possibly further suspension.

0
Bossman_1•

The conspiracy nuts will be out soon. It was Jon Runyan Sr. who handed down the punishment instead of Derrick Brooks being the one to review it. There will be more whining about the NFL favoring the Packers.

0
MoneyMarty27•

Aaron Donald probably needs to kill someone to maaaaybe get a 1 game suspension lol

icwiener69420•

Not packers related?

-10
packcubsmu•

We play the Bucs next week.

12
failingtolurk:GB:•

Is that how you guys want to win?

He was already punished.

Was not a serious brawl.

-12
tapwaterbread:ShareHolderL::ShareHolderR:•

I’ll take a win any way I can.

6
Thegreen_flash•

A wins a win especially with the offense we’re working with. And that’s not even a guarantee we even win. We suck in Florida
