Buying tickets for WWE PPV. Cheaper to buy now or wait?

It’s not Wrestlemania. It’s WWE Day 1 in Atlanta on January 1. We will likely be sitting in the nosebleeds. Is it generally cheaper to buy them as soon as they go on sale (Friday) or to wait until close to the event? I figured you guys that have been to WWE PPVs before would be the best people to ask. Thanks in advance.

I'm certainly no expert but I would have to think the show will sell out. If you miss out your into buying them from resellers and with demand high your probably looking at higher prices. I would think the only way the prices come down is if there is a lot of resellers in the day or two before the event wanting to offload them.

Best off trying to get official ones if you can, it gives you peace of mind and means you don't need to trawl through second hand sites.

I don't know when tickets are on sale or how much they'll cost but try save a few dollars per week if you can and treat yourself over the new year!

Wait for it. I got mine in November and even a day before the show there were people selling for face value

You might get a one off, limited view or production hold hard camera seat. In almost all instances you will pay more than face value.

Tried this strategy in Chicago’s Hell in a Cell (2022) and spent $172 for a lower bowl, non-floor ticket in all state arena. I got lucky and was anxious with the ticket- picked up something near the hard cam.

Avoid the headache - just buy the ticket.

If you want the best nosebleeds (best cheapest available tickets) I suggest trying to get them on presale, that’s what my friends and I do when we go to WWE events. Set our budget and buy best available seats during presale

If you're buying from re-seller sites like SeatGeek or StubHub, it's usually always cheaper to wait. Just last week I bought 4 tickets to Extreme Rules and the same tickets were going for almost $100 dollars more (per ticket) about 2-3 months ago. Same thing when I bought tickets to the Rumble in 2018 and Extreme Rules 2019. If you're willing to wait it out, you can usually find some real decent deals. Just make sure you're checking in on the prices every few days so you don't miss out.

In the past, I would say wait it out. WWE's live events have definitely been selling more tickets as of late though and I haven't seen prices drop last minute as compared to even last year.
