Searching For Business Ideas.

So, this may seem like a stupid post, but I’ve seen worse.

As my title states, I’m looking for business ideas. I’m at a bit of a crossroads in my life, and I’m not sure I want to seek out another 8-5 job doing what I hate for a paycheck. I think I’d rather start my own business. The only problem is, I’m lacking ideas. I originally had an idea for a pet product, but it seems someone had it three years before I did. Any advice for someone like me? All help is appreciated. If this kind of post isn’t allowed, simply flag and I’ll delete. Thanks in advance.

The best ideas can only come from you. Sometimes I like to use mind maps to get everything out of my head.

There are so many business ideas it would be impossible to recommend one for you. My advice is to review what you like to do and look for something that makes sense for that. For example, are you a woodworker and love working with wood? Then start a business to build something. I have always had an idea for building birdhouse kits and selling them on the internet.

The other option is to network in your community to see if there is something people want to buy that they can't get. Build a business around that.

My final thought is KISS. Keep it simple. You don't need to build a car manufacturing plant.
