The Storm's way
It is possible to feel calm in the fury
brought up by that of a storm
The sound of the rain puts my ears to peace
a calming elation I often seek
The quake of the thunder settles my soul
A meditating pace I long to feel
I look to the stars
And I realize the scope of my egoism
That I would take such a sight
As a mere wisp
My hearts yearns for the satisfaction
My own thoughts fail to please
