Questions for those that have a Fellow Stagg EKG

For those that have this kettle, I have a few questions that I can’t seem to figure out. It’s arriving in the mail tomorrow along with my Aeropress. So I want to be prepared.

1. I’m going to be using distilled water with third wave water treatment. After using the kettle, do I need to dry the inside of the kettle, or let it just air dry?

2. How often do I need to descale it, and what’s the best solution? I would use vinegar but I’ve heard the smell lingers. So I’m open to any tips.

3. Should I ever use sink water to wash the inside, or just use the treated water? We have pretty hard water so I want to make sure I don’t mess it up.
