Can someone please explain to me why you can’t play a normal game in Madden these days?

Sorry to rant but it’s not like I can return the game. Why does everyone quit after 1 turnover? Why do so many people blitz hard then quit after getting burned on a big play? It seems like the new norm is to spam high risk plays and either win big or quit when when it’s not working
