The reports are very ambiguous some say 25m some same 3000m. Some say crevasse , some say she fell off edge of mountain. Also, some reports indicate she fell as a result of her ski coming off and so not sure if her ski came off because of a fall or vice versa.
Yes, these are all details that may be insignificant in the larger scheme of things but for someone who is trying to make sense of it all and have been so inspired by her career and accomplishments , just trying to piece it all together here.

It's likely that nobody actually saw her fall. As far as I heard she was together with Jim and he was in front. Could have just disappeared while he was looking ahead. The 25m crevasse quote is probably from the logical assumption she disappeared into one of the ~25m crevasses they saw in that area.
Edit: nvm. The thread in r alpinism has an update. Apparently she fell off the southside after catching a ski near the top.
