I thought about life's seasons but then I thought I'd have to mention for sure I don't get to rise up out of winter, and then it would be about death and or be stained by death or whatever and I didn't want this to be a bummer poem at all

&I absolutely get the puncturing of the moment might deflate the mood but I dunno eh it might be a cheap trick to humble the narrator and perhaps that could have done more poetically but with the big things - nature, art, women - I'm just a rube

I like the nature imagery a lot but I feel like the “let’s be frank” line is a little harsh of a tonal shift given the serenity of the rest of the piece. Also maybe there’s an interesting “life’s seasons” metaphor to be made here when you talk about your age. But this is great, love a good nature piece!

The all ages of me but was niiceee.
Ugh gorgeous and so respectful and magical and calm. I’m from a wintery place and was taken back to being in the bush the smell and sounds of it all. Being amongst the gods of the forest yaknow they don’t need us but actually are there to listen and humm back some mystical wisdom ha. Yeah cool poem

Yes. Wonderful. Nature is amazing. I live in the forest and am so blessed. I feel our Forest looks after us. I wonder if you could inject some more forest energy somehow.

I have always loved the woods

All seasons of Earth, all ages of me

The bugs and the dirt

Wet leaves and mud

The frosted then frozen branches.

I've never thought it was I who gave importance to nature 

That a tree makes a sound just because I'm there to hear it

Let's be frank, I'm just some asshole.
