Looking for sapphic/lesbian romance with trans lead(s).

Book Request

Or, Single White Female Seeks The Impossible (I'm actually married but it rings better)

I have in fact used the search engine and it's not very helpful. I turned up a few neato sapphic book recs, and even one book I haven't read yet! I just want some trans leads to go with my endless stream of sapphic romance.

Books I have read:

  • Tengoku by Rae D Magdon. It was pretty alright I think.

  • Fake It by Lily Seabrooke. I like this one in general but I could have stood to hear more from Avery about her being trans, I guess?

  • Lifetime Between Us, Diana Moorland. Wow this one wasn't very good, Maria spends most of it self-loathing which sucks.

  • Ransom to Love by Chloe Keto. Not good overall, it has its charms but I didn't appreciate the way it tried to save SHES TRANS!!!! as if it were some shocking reveal. Also, bad sex.

  • Double Exposure by Chelsea M Cameron. Short, decent, more pls.

  • Roller Girl by Vanessa North. This one left no impact, solid 5/10.

  • Love & Other Disasters, Anita Kelly. The rare F/NB!!! Despite not being a sapphic(?) romance I enjoyed this one pretty thoroughly, London is one of my favourite leads in general.

  • Squid Hugs by Erik Shubach. DNF'd pretty quickly for "biological male", awkward writing and poor grammar/punctuation. I know it's selfpub but please, commas...

  • The Weight of Living by M.A. Hinkle. Genuinely excellent, a smalltown feel that doesn't reek of commercialized bs, I even wrote a review/rec post about it recently.

  • The Price On Her Head by Suzanne Clay. I am not big on minotaur sex so this was not for me.

God, is that actually it? I think that's literally all I could find. I've got Knowing Her by Racquel de Leon on my TBR, but that's it. I know people like to recommend a lot of romance-adjacent things for this topic, since there's an embarrassing lack of trans sapphic rep, but honestly even Tengoku was skirting the line of "not enough romance" for me, and "romance-adjacent" is how I got tricked into reading things like Maxine Wore Black(Nora Olsen) and Light From Uncommon Stars.

Stipulations: you get super bonus points if both leads are trans(impossible) and demerit points proportional to how much self-loathing and internalized queerphobia the book and its lead(s) have. To be clear I am also interested in F/NB pairings.

Thanks if you actually read this entire, weirdly specific post.

E: if you found an old thread with the same topic, I've read it. Can you say "same five books recommended ad nauseum"?

Edit 2: What I have learned from this thread is that I am best at finding trans lesbians in romance; only a couple of these are books I've not heard of. Weirdly this thread turned out to be much better for nonbinary romances than for binary trans woman leads! Thanks if you've contributed.
