Which usually hung limply, looking in deep need of
...nutrition? Whatever that babble they put on the back of shampoo bottles
It looked amazing and full
I looked like a rock star
(or at least a roadie)

I bet it looked great when we were up at 3 am smoking and in the middle of talking til the sun rose

I bet it looked great when I was fucking you and the roommates downstairs complained the ceiling fan would wobble
I bet it looked great when you punched me in the stomach
I bet it looked great when I was waiting for you to come home
I bet it looked great when I read your letter, telling me to get out by sunday
It doesn't look that great anymore but
