I've really loved DGD the past couple of years. I'm not necissarily new to their music but also not a connoisseur like some of ya'll. I'm new to the old stuff but recently listened to "Me and Zoloft Get Along Just Fine". Goddamn. I fucking love it.

It's a real banger. That whole album is S tier material imo. Skyhook and Caviar are in my top 20 DGD songs honestly.

Go fuck yourself

(For context i adore the song and seem to be the only one because on all those “most underrated song” posts I am literally the only one who ever brings up Reprogramming and it is an insult)

Me and Zoloft is one of the absolute best post hardcore choruses ever.

Actually the song that got me into dgd. So many years ago, glad to see its aged so well.

After diving into that album, I checked dbm (the only other album available at the time). Now my favorite album ever, and I have ...Zoloft to thank. That little double bass break is the moment I understood.

If you dig that you need to check out Happiness. I did a 5 hour drive last night and went through all of their older albums because I did a Tier Maker on here the other day and felt that I hadn’t gave their older music as fair of a shot. The Kurt era was insanely impressive and so underrated is my take away, happiness is now one of my absolute favorite albums, it’s a step up from Self Titled (DeathStar) in terms of the mix and John’s vocals. Every song is great.

hey, just to blow your mind, it's actually Will screaming on Happiness

Is this the only album Jon mess took off then? I thought it was mostly will on self titled or something like that. I love Mr Swans deeper tone, it compliments Kurt very well

Hey man it takes time. I started listening in 2014, probably took my until 2016 to get used to the earlier albums and start enjoying them, and then it took me two years after that to start enjoying DBM2.

Becoming a fan is a process
