Straight fit jeans
Have lost some weight, and am looking to buy a few very nice jeans. Unfortunately, everywhere seems to have slim fit jeans. As a result of all the squash I played in my teens, I have quite thick thighs. Everything I try looks like a choori pyjami, and if I go a size up, the waist gets loose (depending on the brand, usually waist 32 or 34 fits me). Here's the options I have tried:
-
Levi's 511 is way too slim for my thighs. 501 is fine, except that it's not tapered at all (plus one pair costs 8000). 541 was perfect for me, but that's not available in Pakistan any more (the pairs that I have are too loose now).
-
Uniworth. Nothing worked. Too tight for thighs, or they fall down.
-
Same for breakout and outfitters.

Cambridge does have a couple of straight fit denim that fit me. But no taper at all, and size 32 is way too loose but size 30 is too tight.
Currently, I am on the verge of coughing up 16000 and buying two 501s. Sigh.
Edit: found what I was looking for: jeans that accommodate thick thighs but do taper. Cambridge now has jeans that come with what they call comfort tapered fit. Size 32 (what I got) has waist 33 inches and thigh 26 inches (for slim fit, this is usually around 23 inches). And the bottom of the leg is narrow (around 14 inches), so it tapers compared to a straight fit like 501. It's essentially levi's 541. And the fabric is muah (way better than levi's honestly). Lots of different lengths available. But they do cost 5000 each and come only in dark blue and dark charcoal/almost black (raw denim). Hope that helps.
