Sigh. I’ll guess I’ll just have to wait 8 weeks for Packhounds to get some kind of useable missiles, lol.

As ThinkingWithPortals already said.
Pre-engineered modules were not supposed to be modifiable at all in Fdev's grand scheme.
But for some reason they could be.

They fixed that, for all modules but the FSD's.
Bc ppl complained about that one.
Other than the FSD's, no other pre-engineered module can be changed at all, afaik.

Well crap. I wasted a ton of materials on these things and all I wanted was to put Drag Munitions on them… Gotta love how the fan wiki lies about being able to change the Experimental. :/

*"Applying any other Engineering modifications to this module will remove the bonus second modification, but the Experimental Effect can be safely replaced."*

IIRC they made it so that the 5A fsd could, but that was the only one

And even that wasn't their original intention, it was a bug that allowed players to put mass manager on it, but once it was released bugged and later fixed, people complained and they reverted it (like 6 months later).

you can. use the awesome power of this thing called 'horizons'. Idk what it does, but i have heard positive things from it.

She protec, she attac, but most importantly, she blow out your ammo rack

Human techology brokers.
Same as the double engineered 5A FSD V1.

You buy them for engineering materials instead of credtis.
Each buy will put 1 module of choice in storage of that station.

Are these double engineered modules you can buy?

Wasn't I supposed to be able to change the Experimental on these...?
