Fertilizer?

Where do you get your fertilizer? Ag ext report says just nitrogen. So it would be X-0-0, I think.

Blood meal is a great nitrogen only fertilizer, available everywhere from different brands. It’s generally a powder though, not sure what medium you’re looking for.

In the long term I think Johnson Su method is the future of soil additives. It's a low cost method of regenerating the diversity of soil life. Which provides nutrients in a more natural method that is more effective than applying fertilizer.

For grass and ornamentals? Do you have Russell Feed? They sell "Tick off your neighbor" 28-0-0 and it's fantastic.

Alfalfa meal is great and breaks down really fast, but I'd grab a microlife slow release fertilizer and use that. The 8-4-6 is great for just keeping general nutrients at good levels for intensive planting. Impossible to burn plants with it.
