Scenario's where it is acceptable to save and replay games

The scenario I find myself in is that

• I've won the title. I have nothing to play for
• The team in 3rd is a tiny, regional team that have never won anything
• The team in 2nd is the biggest team in the country
• They're 1 point apart.
• 2nd place gets automatic CL Spot and a huge cash injection.

Would you replay the game trying to get AI Results that give the small team a CL spot?

Is there any other scenario where replaying games is acceptable?
