Worked six years as a BA, but for smaller companies. What is a salary range and position to look for as I re-enter the market?
[Based in the US] So for my first 2 years, I was on a contract for a telematics company, then I accepted a job offer for my current company, a telecommunications devices company, but it’s a very small company. I was the chief communicator between our business and the manufactures, who we outsourced from overseas, and we only had 7 total full-time employees for the business (including the owner). I’ve checked the box on possibly everything a traditional BA has done.
I currently get paid 65k a year, but I have friends in the industry making 90k. Is that a realistic salary to shoot for? Also, I don’t feel like I’m ready for a senior role just yet.
Please feel free for additional info needed.
