SSD Upgrade - Early 2009 iMac

Hi guys, I was just wondering as I'm halfway through an SSD upgrade on an early 2009 iMac 20" using iFixit's guide, however, I notice you have to unplug a cable labelled 'HDD Temp" and I don't know what to do with it when installing my SSD as Ive heard it can make the fans spin at 100%? this is my first time taking it apart so have no idea what I'm doing, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
