Does anyone else's PDA trigger while watching movies or shows?

I often find myself just noping out during an awkward or uncomfortable scene, sometimes just skipping whole episodes. For example, a lot of the scenes in the earlier seasons of Steven Universe just made me leave, and I never watched the Ember Island Players episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I was just wondering if this was a normal thing for autists.
