Best spots for railway photography near NY (accesible by public transport)

Hey everyone! I will visit NY in a few weeks, its my first time in the US and I would love to take photos of places like this one; Can you tell me in which town I can find them? and if they have active trains going across, better for the photos! Thank you :)
