Blocking a subreddit

Question

Is there a way to block a subreddit? I'm aware I can filter it out of feeds, but even if it is filtered out I can still search and go to it. Is there a way to block it entirely so that I can't even search/go to it?

Right, which as far as I'm aware doesn't accomplish what I mentioned, unless I'm missing something. Does it work the way I described for you?

i just added r/memes subreddit to the list and now I don't see them in my search results or my front page. isn't that what you were trying to do. hide the whole subreddit from your homeoage and search results. it worked for me.

Partly, but in your example of r/memes I also want the subreddit not to come up in a search and not be able to go to inside boost. Even though r/memes is filtered out you can still search for and visit the subreddit, at least that's my experience

Just curious, which sub are you trying to block? I need to know, for curiosity reasons
