Not sure if this is frowned upon, but I wrote a script for Shadow Fiend that makes it easier to Shadow Raze.

I've recently been practicing with Shadow Fiend and I remembered how there was a command to put a circle around your hero for a certain range (dota_range_display <range>). So for a little bit, I was just setting it to 700 and guessing for Q/W. However, I decided to write a simple little script that changes the way Shadow Raze works a bit.

Just press Q, W, or E once and the circle will be set to the proper range. Tap it again, and the shadow raze will be executed.

Put this into your DoTA2 config folder and name it shadowfiend.cfg:

alias fiend_doq "dota_ability_execute 0;"

alias fiend_dow "dota_ability_execute 1;"

alias fiend_doe "dota_ability_execute 2;"

alias fiend_setq "bind q fiend_doq; bind w fiend_setw; bind e fiend_sete; dota_range_display 200"

alias fiend_setw "bind w fiend_dow; bind q fiend_setq; bind e fiend_sete; dota_range_display 450"

alias fiend_sete "bind e fiend_doe; bind q fiend_setq; bind w fiend_setw; dota_range_display 700"

bind q "fiend_setq"

bind w "fiend_setw"

bind e "fiend_sete"

If you get shadow fiend, open your console and run 'exec shadowfiend'. You'll also need to unbind the Q/W/E from the abilities controls tab due to a bug with the new binding system. Once you rebind the controls and get into another game, it'll be back to normal.

I'm not entirely sure if this is considered cheating and if dota_range_display is supposed to be a cheat command, but it's definitely helped me hone my Shadow Fiend skills.
