Apparently G-Witch went through some serious rewrite during development......
According to an article published on November issue of Newtype Magazine, G-witch went through significant level of rewrite, the original story was much closer to a classic Gundam war story, until an high school or middle school intern told the director something along the line of, any show with "Gundam" in the title is hard to get in, prompted a rewrite on the story.
Pretty much everything was changed, except for the word "witch" and female protagonist. The original story outline plus the script for the first episode were already finished when rewrite happened. Suletta was supposed to have a stronger personality from the get go.
Could someone find the original article and post the translation? I only found summary and incomplete picture of the article.
What do you guys think about this revelation? I mean, it doesn't mean the story will be bad, but I am curious as to what the original story was.
